Light collides with arts and imagination. The e-Luminate Festival in Cambridge embodies the rich heritage that our beloved city still holds, whilst adding a modern twist. The e-Luminate Festival is a series of artistic exhibitions revolving around lighting up some of the city’s most famous pieces of architecture. It truly is a wonderful experience and gives a whole new perspective on the way we see our city. The event holds infinite possibilities, and whilst it is a contemporary art event, it is also at the forefront of scientific and technological research. The e-Luminate festival will be running from 9th February to 14th February, and the opening ceremony will be taking place at the Guildhall on Friday 9th from 6 pm. We’ve compiled some interesting facts about the cherished local festival below:
